Q: Narwal Flow can climb thresholds up to 4cm. How is this achieved?
A: Common household thresholds include single thresholds and double thresholds. Narwal Flow’s maximum climbing capability of 4cm refers to its performance with double thresholds; for single thresholds, the maximum climbing height is 30mm (3cm). This covers most common threshold scenarios in homes. 
 
Note that actual performance may vary slightly based on real-world conditions, and results depend on your specific household setup.

If your home has multiple thresholds to cross, each individual threshold must be less than 30mm (3cm) in height, and the width of each threshold should exceed 250mm (25cm) to prevent the robot from getting stuck or tipping/being stranded.
 
Additionally, for single thresholds with a height between 3-4cm, we recommend using a threshold ramp (with a height of >1.5cm) for assistance. After adding the ramp, the total width of the threshold (including the ramp) should ideally exceed 25cm to avoid the robot getting stuck or stranded.

Does Narwal Flow support 5GHz WIFI?

Yes, Narwal Flow is compatible with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. It features upgraded frequency capabilities to work seamlessly with most home network setups.

Does Narwal Flow Support Automatic Detergent Dispensing? | Narwal Flow

Basic Dock version
It requires manual detergent refills. For a full tank of water, follow these ratios when adding detergent:
  • Small detergent bottle (200ml): Add 1–3 capfuls, depending on how dirty your floors are.
  • Large detergent bottle (930ml): Add 1 capful.
Important notes:
🚫 Do not use more detergent than recommended or switch to other brands. Excessive detergent may cause excessive foaming, which could clog the water tank pipes.
If you prefer a chemical-free approach, water alone is suitable for light cleaning.

How Is the Residual Moisture After Mopping? Will There Be Any Residual Water? | Narwal Flow

In most cases, no water will be left on the floor. 

If you notice a few water droplets, this may occur due to significant movement when the robot exits the base station or climbs over thresholds. 
✨ A small amount of residual water is considered normal.

Return and Mop Washing Strategy | Narwal Flow

There are two strategies for the frequency of the Narwal Flow mopping pad self - cleaning, and you can choose according to your needs.

Strategy 1: Self - cleaning based on area
- High - efficiency mode: The mopping pad is self - cleaned every 12 square meters.
- Standard mode (default): The mopping pad is self - cleaned every 20 square meters.
- Deep - cleaning mode: The mopping pad is self - cleaned every 30 square meters.

Strategy 2: Smart self - cleaning.
When the Freo Mind is turned on, the smart self - cleaning mode will be used for the self - cleaning strategy.
In this mode, the machine can make intelligent decisions on the timing of self - cleaning based on the water volume in the machine body, room zoning, etc., taking into account both cleaning effect and cleaning efficiency.

How Can I Ensure Narwal Flow Works Effectively on Areas with Carpet? | Narwal Flow

The Narwal Flow uses carpet-friendly technology to clean your carpets without damage. 

Here's how it works:
  • Precision Sensors: Uses advanced ultrasound to detect carpets accurately—no mistaking tile gaps or hardwood floors for carpets.
  • Auto-Raise Mop: Lifts the mop 12mm when crossing carpets to avoid wetting or staining them.
  • Power Boost: Automatically increases suction for deep cleaning on carpets without using the mop.

❗ Important Notes:
  1. In default settings, the robot avoids carpets to prevent damage. To clean carpets, enable "Carpet Mode" in the app: Device Home > Map > Map Editing > Carpet > Clean the carpet 
  2. Best for carpets under 20mm thickness with pile height ≤0.7cm. Thick/dense carpets (e.g., rubber-backed) may not be detected accurately.
  3. During carpet cleaning, the robot auto-boosts suction and slows movement to deeply remove embedded debris. This may increase cleaning duration versus hard floors.
  4. If your carpet falls outside the specified range, disable Carpet Mode in the app to avoid operational issues.

1. Please clean the side brush and inspect for foreign objects, hair tangles, or deformation.

Why Is One Side of the Side Brush Longer Than the Other? | Narwal Flow

Narwal Flow has upgraded the side brush. 

The right - hand side brush uses Narwal's new long - version side brush. Due to its longer length, it can directly reach corners and walls, making cleaning easier and more efficient.

  3. Replace if needed: Swap out the roller brush if it’s flattened, missing bristles, or heavily soiled.

Does the Freo X Plus Have an Automatic Mop Cleaning Function?

This model does not support automatic mop cleaning. To maintain a hygienic home environment, we strongly recommend:
  1. Manually washing the mop and air-drying it thoroughly after each use to prevent bacterial growth.
  2. Using disposable mops as a convenient, hygienic alternative for daily cleaning.

Can I Add Third-Party Cleaning Solutions to the Robot's Water Tank?

We do not recommend using third-party cleaning solutions, as this may cause malfunctions like water pumping issues or reduce the lifespan of the device. 

Does the Freo X Plus Come with Cleaning Solution?

What Types of Floors are the S30 series Vacuum Mop Suitable for?

All cleaning modes of the S30 series vacuum mop can be used on hard floors, such as tiles, marble, solid wood floors, and composite floors.

✅ It is worth noting that the S30 series vacuum mop has a newly added wood floor mode. 
In this mode, the water volume is reduced while the suction power is increased, enabling effective dust cleaning while preventing the wood floor from coming into contact with excessive water.

Does the S30 Series Support Automatic Detergent Dispensing? How Long Does a Bottle of Detergent Last?

S30 Pro
The S30 Pro features a 100ml detergent storage tank located at the base of the unit. 
  • Once pre-filled, it can automatically dispense detergent during cleaning as needed.
  • A full tank lasts for up to 40 days without refilling.
  • Each 200ml detergent bottle can refill the storage tank twice, meaning one bottle provides approximately 80 days of usage.
S30 
The S30 does not support auto-dispensing. It requires manual addition of concentrated detergent to the clean water tank. To prevent excessive foam, always fill the tank with water first before adding detergent.

Dosage and Addition Method of Detergent | S30 Series

This detergent is concentrated, so please be careful with the amount used. Excessive amounts may cause excessive foaming during machine operation or self-cleaning, which could affect the machine's performance. 

🚫 We do not recommend that you use cleaning agents from other brands!

The S30 Pro supports automatic detergent refilling, while the S30 does not. Therefore, the two models have different detergent-adding methods.
  • S30 Pro (with automatic detergent refilling)
Simply add detergent to the built-in reservoir as follows:
  1. Press the button on the right side of the brush cover and lower the cover.
  2. Open the detergent reservoir.
  3. Pour in about 5-6 capfuls of detergent until it reaches the MAX line.
*This is approximately 790ml, and a full refill can last for about 40 days.
  • S30 (without automatic detergent refilling)
Notes for manual refilling:
  1. To prevent excessive foaming, fill the tank with water first before adding detergent.
  2. Use the detergent bottle cap to measure, with approximately 6ml of detergent per capful.
  3. Pour the detergent from the cap into the water tank.
*Each 6ml of detergent is suitable for a full tank of water.

How Does the S30 Pro Prevent Hair Tangling?

The S30 Pro is dual-certified by SGS & TUV, achieving true zero tangling.

  • Built-in double-layer comb teeth: While the vacuum mop is operating, the L-shaped double-layer comb straightens hair during suction and guides it into the intake port.
  • Built-in mini hair-cutting blades: When running the self-cleaning process, it first gathers and then cuts hair during self-cleaning. If a large amount of hair is sucked in, it automatically cuts the tangled hair and sucks it away through rotation, eliminating tangling at the source.

How Does the S30 Prevent Hair Tangling?

Usage Scope:

1. This product is suitable for hard floors in indoor environments, including waxed floors, stone - milled floors, rubber floors, marble floors, granite floors, terrazzo floors, solid wood floors, composite bamboo floors, and flat surfaces such as various mirror tiles and ceramic tiles. 
Using this product on uneven surfaces may not achieve the best results.

2. It is prohibited to suck high - temperature substances (unextinguished cigarette butts, matches, or hot ashes, etc.), ultra - fine substances (such as lime, cement, wood chips, gypsum powder, ashes, carbon powder, etc.), dangerous items (such as solvents, scale removers, etc.), chemical substances (such as acidic substances, cleaners, etc.), and other substances with uncertain physical properties.

3. It is prohibited to use this product to suck detergents, kerosene, gasoline, alcohol, paint, perfume, etc.
These liquids may cause short - circuits, fires, or explosions in the machine.

4. It is prohibited to use this product to suck toners and color powders used inside laser printers and copiers. 
These substances may cause fires or explosions in the machine.

5. It is prohibited to use this product to suck sharp objects, such as glass shards, pins, paper clips, stones, gypsum, large pieces of paper, etc. These objects may cause blockages in the machine or scratch the floor.

6. It is prohibited to use the product in an environment with open flames.

7. It is prohibited to bring human hair, clothes, fingers, or other body parts close to the air outlet of the product.

8. It is prohibited to place the power cord near a heat source. Use the power cord carefully to avoid damage, and do not drag or lift the product by the power cord.

9. It is prohibited to incinerate the product. Even if the product is severely damaged, the product battery may explode due to this.

10. This product should not be stored or used in a humid environment. The operating environment temperature is 5 - 40°C. Using it beyond this temperature range is strictly prohibited.

Yes, S30 series can tackle hard-to-reach areas like under sofas and beds, because they support 180° lying-down cleaning and 63° easy-turn maneuverability.

The S30 series reduces its entry height to just 5.51 inch, making it suitable for more low-clearance spaces. Equipped with built-in sensors, it precisely detects even 1° changes in hand positioning for better control.

To prevent dust dispersion and ensure effective low-height cleaning, the suction power automatically switches to Quiet Mode when lying flat. Meanwhile, the system maximizes fan performance to maintain strong suction without compromise.

How Much Waste Can the Self-Contained Waste Separation Bag Hold? How Often Should It Be Replaced?
